Christmas Crackers Blitz Tournament 2025

When?  Wednesday, 17th December at 7.30pm.

Where? Ipswich Chess Club (of course!)

It is a friendly, open, unrated tournament for club members, so you could feel a trill before Christmas break.

Time control: simple 5 min / per player / game

We will play 10 – 12 rounds of Swiss or double round robin, depending on number of participants. 

Winner will hold the title of Club Blitz Cracker 2025!

No entry fees. 

Bring some sweets and treats, if you can, so everyone could share and enjoy.

Obligatory – good fun, and a lot of chess! 

On the day, feel free to chat, laugh, eat, drink, be excited…. even during the games (oh dear)! This is the last session this year, and we all deserve some fun!
